We process all re/sync tech at our Apple Authorised service centre to ensure that it’s all fully functional. For Mac for example, this includes the completion of a full system scan, and a ten-point check. As all re/sync products start out as customer returns, they may include a small number of cosmetic markings, and some product boxes may also feature cosmetic marks.

How are devices prepared for re/sync?
In order to check devices for re/sync, we perform a 10-point check, and, dependant on device, a full system scan. If we find any faults, we will repair the device before posting it on re/sync. Where a product passes all tests and checks, we clean the device and return it to its original packaging.
What is the full system scan?
The full system scan digitally checks the components in your device, including:
- Audio controller
- Backlight controller
- Battery
- Chipset
- DIMM
- Display
- DisplayPort
- Fan
- Memory
- MLB
- Storage
- System
- Temperature sensor
- Thunderbolt
- Video controller
- Wi-Fi
Scans are only available for some products (e.g. Mac).
What is the ten-point check?
Our comprehensive ten-point check includes:
- Cosmetic condition
- Device storage
- Keyboard
- Trackpad
- Audio
- Microphone
- Camera
- Ports (e.g. Charging ports, USB ports)
- Operating system
- Original accessories
Where a re/sync product doesn’t have a specific functionality, the check will not be issued (for example, we are not able to run a keyboard or trackpad check on an iPad).
Does re/sync tech include a warranty?
Yes! All of our re/sync products include a 12-month warranty.
Do the accessories come in the box?
Absolutely! If a product comes with accessories (such as a charger or cable), then these accessories will be included in the box.
How are devices graded?
Our re/sync tech is all graded to the highest possible standard. Anything that doesn’t pass a full system scan or our ten-point test does not meet our criteria for re/sync. So rest-assured, before adding a device to re/sync, it is fully checked and tested for quality.

Are re/sync products brand new?
Our re/sync product catalogue is largely populated by customer returns. In most instances, devices enter our re/sync programme because a customer has purchased an incorrect device, removed it from its packaging, and returned it back to the box with little or no use.
On receipt of the return, we run the device through rigorous technical and quality checks, preparing the device for sale through re/sync.
