Apple Distinguished Schools: Best in Class
The Apple Distinguished School programme recognises centres of leadership and educational excellence that demonstrate Apple’s vision for learning with technology.
The institutions that have been awarded Apple Distinguished School status really understand the implications that technology has on the future of education. They work to ensure that their institutions become environments in which the learning goals of their students are fully supported by the technology in the classroom. The leaders of these communities continue to show growth and innovation through the culture, team, capacity, finance and measurement found within their institutions.
This is a process that is ever evolving and requires thoughtful planning, practice and improvement along every step of the way, and the results are worth the perseverance. Apple devices such as iPad and Mac are used to inspire students in the classroom to tap into their creativity and critical thinking, as well as to encourage collaboration with their fellow classmates so that they can learn and grow together.
Apple Distinguished Schools are places where students are excited about learning and can fulfil their curiosity with the touch of a button (or screen). With 535 of these schools across 32 countries, an institution being able to boast the accreditation is one worthy of the utmost celebration.
We are thrilled to share that seven of the Apple Distinguished Schools Sync work with are either new to the programme, or have renewed their status in 2021.
These schools are:
King’s Rochester Preparatory School
Desmond Gardens Primary School
Congratulations to all seven of the Apple Distinguished Schools awarded their status in 2021, and we look forward to our continued partnership with each of these excellent institutions.
